This Return & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through thesmithconcept.gr and covers worldwide orders. For customers within the European Union, this policy follows applicable consumer protection laws, including the right of withdrawal and legal guarantees.
1. Right of Withdrawal (European Union Customers)
Customers located in the European Union have the right to withdraw from their online purchase within 14 calendar days from the date they receive their order, without giving a reason.

Due to the nature of our products, candles, wax melts, and fragrance items that have been opened, burned, melted, used, or altered cannot be returned.
For hygiene, safety, and product integrity reasons, used fragrance products are not eligible for return.
Custom-made or personalised products are excluded from the right of withdrawal where permitted by applicable consumer law.
3. Return Shipping Costs
For returns due to a change of mind, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as The Smith Concept cannot be held responsible for returned parcels lost or damaged during transportation.
If a product is confirmed to be defective or incorrectly supplied, The Smith Concept will cover the appropriate solution according to the circumstances.
4. Damaged or Incorrect Orders
Every order is carefully inspected and securely packaged before leaving our studio.
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
To allow us to assess the issue, please provide:

Claims submitted after this 48-hour period may not be accepted, as we may be unable to verify whether the damage occurred during transportation.
If the product is confirmed to have arrived damaged or if an incorrect item was shipped, we will review the case and provide an appropriate solution, which may include replacement or refund.
5. Refunds
Once a returned product has been received and inspected, approved refunds will be processed within the applicable legal timeframe.

6. Handmade Product Disclaimer
Because our products are handmade using natural soy wax and premium fragrance oils, slight variations may occur between individual items.
Small differences in colour, texture, frosting, or surface appearance are natural characteristics of soy wax and are not considered defects.
These variations do not affect the quality, safety, or performance of the product.
7. International Orders
Customers outside the European Union may be subject to local customs fees, import duties, taxes, or delays imposed by their country’s authorities.
The Smith Concept is not responsible for additional charges imposed by customs authorities.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the products they order comply with their country’s import regulations.
